After a long time, I finally finished editing our music video. This means we now have footage to work from when creating things such as our poster and digi pak. It also means we can now get feed back from several different audiences on the cut to make improvements.

James: I am currently working on editing and generally putting the music video together at the moment. It is turning out to be lengthly process as I want to produce the most effective 'product' as I possibly can. Unfortunately this is has lead to a decrease/infrequent amount of blog posts from myself. I aim to finish the editing for our music video before Christmas so I can work on getting the last blog posts done over the holidays.

Todays weather overcast shows that it will be clear however there will be light rain between 12 and 1 however this shouldn't be a problem as we should be on our way to the location at this point therefore we will be under cover for the this period of time.

Today is the day of our second filming session at the Bounce Bar in Shoreditch. Again we are ready for this; having back up cameras and charge. We are making sure our costumes are different to last time as we want to portray the 'four mates' journey over a period of time.

Booking Query: Bounce

I have messaged Bounce Bar to ask about a booking this is because on their website they state that only groups of over 6 are able to pre book a table.

Update: after not getting back to us we decided to phone them about availablilty and to ask about their 'bounce cams'.

Unfortunately, upon arrival the bounce cams weren't available :( but we did managed, without trouble, to get in and start playing at the time we wanted too.

Update: First day filming

Later on today we are all heading out to Stratford, Westfields in order to get the fist third of our footage done. We are all ready for it, making sure we have a back up phone and a portable charger as we know filming on the iPhone does drain the battery fast. Costumes are sorted and we know when and where we are meeting.

Due to unavailability at All star lanes we had to change the date in which we can film therefore we were able to get a booking for the Monday 9th November. We also had to make some changes to the bounce date due to working commitments therefore we will film on the following Monday at this locations.

Use of the blogger app

As a group we all thought it would be useful to download the Blogger app to our smartphones, it allows us to keep on track easier as to what point we are at and is a good way to guide us.

Using a Group Chat

As the group is split in half between two classes we need to make sure we are frequently talking to one another. One way we are making this possible is through using a group chat so we can keep in contact with each other all the time. Whether it's for announcing a new idea or needing to arrange a meeting, having a Group Chat makes our lives a lot easier and organised.

Setting up email

Setting up an email account makes things a lot easier for ourselves. It means we can all use the account whenever we want. It particularly comes in handy when signing up for different websites, such as 'Prezi', because we don't have to constantly create and re-make accounts with different usernames and information. Furthermore, making our own email helps Stage Studios to look more professional from another production company's point of view i.e. when requesting permission from Galantis' production company to use their song.
